Have a look at that little poster, the colourful one and you will know what this is about!

A Robert Mileham, installed here for just one day!

Robert: Congratulations on your charming figure, wonderfully modelled! That was a great idea to have her standing at the fountain or the pump, her little hand forward to feel the water splashing out, while lifting her foot to keep it dry. The dreamy slant of her head is also just right.
Did you have a fountain in mind to go with her? For this temporary exhibition I see you had to set up that old dry trunk to give her something to lean on. Of course she could stand at any garden wall with a faucet to explain the pose.
Long story! Yes she is to be installed in a pagoda, swinging on a pillar by a tributary of the Thames with water flowing past and down. It is in the formal part of some old medieval gardens which are thought to have been known to Anne Boleyn (2nd Queen of Henry VIII; the one that caused so much of a stir in continental Europe especially in Spain!
Thanks for the kind remarks.
Oh, that sounds like a lovely site! Be sure and do some more pictures then…
